Son of a Bun

A husband and wife team with a mutual love of food, specifically, the hamburger variety. Call them shallow but they just love 'em! Let's face it. Who woke up craving a salad?

They used to plot their way around London using burger joints like landmarks. But they soon grew tired of travelling to the UK and the States in search of the perfect burger. It was time to bring the mountain to Mohammed.

First they had to find the right home for their vision. The old Crowley's Music Centre, Cork's spiritual home for a million budding musicians, couldn't have been more perfect. It up-and-coming MacCurtain Street, nestled between landmark pubs, theatres and coffee shops.

They might have the perfect location but that means nothing without the perfect burger. Their travels (and tastebuds) had taught them that only good Aberdeen Angus beef, minced daily and cooked to perfection (pink the way they should be), served in a freshly baked, light brioche bun and lovingly dressed with original, simple ingredients was the ultimate way to prepare the ultimate burger.
